Digital Art by James Watson

Digital art is about the projection of light for so than the reflection of it. It’s about pixels, objects, and layers. It’s about manipulation and creation just like any other form of art, but unlike painting your tools offer built in utility and the ability to see your creation through filters other than your own.

I have some random Photoshop creations in a very old art portfolio.

In more recent years, I have learned to retouch and eventually create digital art pieces from my photography.

I am currently working on a film project where I am using digital editing tools to create multilayer environments.
